Ready and Howdy, by photographer William Wegman, will be located at L'Enfant Plaza station on the Orange, Blue, Green and Yellow Lines in the District of Columbia. Two photographs of Wegman's Weimaraners in faux NASA space suits will be fabricated into two 10-foot-in-diameter porcelain enamel circular photomurals and installed on the interior walls at station entrances. The photographs will be installed at L'Enfant Plaza station because of its close proximity to NASA Administrative Offices and the National Air and Space Museum. The murals will be installed in the Spring of 2003. The project is funded in part by the NASA Art Program and the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities. | ||||
