Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum age is 20 years and 9 months
- United States citizen
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be physically fit to perform normal police activities
In addition to the above requirements, an applicant must obtain a score of at least 70% on the written application.

Lateral Entry
Applicants with prior law enforcement experience will be offered a starting salary that is commensurate with their years of experience to a maximum of five years. The maximum starting salary is currently $59,697.
