Metrobus Route Changes

The following routes have upcoming or recent schedule changes:

5A
Effective March 28, 2010, eastbound Route 5A will follow regular route to the intersection of D & 7th Streets SW, then continue D Street to the terminal stand on the south side of D Street SW, east of 7th Street.

Westbound Route 5A will begin at that terminal stand, then continue D Street, right 6th Street, right E Street, right 7th Street, left D Street and continue regular route. This routing will operate every day of the year. The stop on 7th Street SW at Maryland Avenue, which was previously served only on weekends, will no longer be served by the 5A. In addition to the terminal stand, westbound Route 5A will also serve a stop on the north side of E Street SW, east of 7th Street.

A9
Effective March 28, 2010, northbound A9 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street to the terminal stand on the east side of 7th Street SW, north of E Street. No change southbound.

V7
Effective March 28, 2010, westbound Routes V7 and V9 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street, left D Street and continue regular route. Westbound Route V8 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street to D Street, then continue 7th Street and regular route. No change southbound to V7, V8, V9. The bus stop on the east side of 7th Street SW, north of E Street will be restored.

V8
Effective March 28, 2010, westbound Routes V7 and V9 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street, left D Street and continue regular route. Westbound Route V8 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street to D Street, then continue 7th Street and regular route. No change southbound to V7, V8, V9. The bus stop on the east side of 7th Street SW, north of E Street will be restored.

V9
Effective March 28, 2010, westbound Routes V7 and V9 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street, left D Street and continue regular route. Westbound Route V8 will follow regular route to the intersection of 7th & E Streets SW, then continue 7th Street to D Street, then continue 7th Street and regular route. No change southbound to V7, V8, V9. The bus stop on the east side of 7th Street SW, north of E Street will be restored.
