Synopsis
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the services of qualified contractor to design, manufacture and deliver two (2) Snow Throwers: This equipment will be used to remove snow from WMATA Tracks: See Part III, of the Solicitation‘s Technical Specification for details.
Additionally, upon delivery and prior to equipment acceptance, the successful contractor must perform on-rail equipment testing and also provide training for equipment operation and maintenance at a WMATA facility.
The solicitation contains a 1.5 % DBE goal requirement for freight trucking, long distance, crane loading.
