District of Columbia

During severe winter weather (8+ inches of snow or heavy icing), customers should expect bus service only on the routes listed below, and only as conditions allow.

5A	2 buses operating at 45 - 60 min headways between Rosslyn and Dulles as long as airport remains open. Bypass Tysons-Westpark
7A	2 buses operating at 45 - 60 min headways between Pentagon and Lincolnia. Loop via 236 & Van Dorn interchange if Lincolnia loop is blocked. Bypass Landmark S/C. Alternative: Pentagon-Southern Towers only with 2 buses every 30-45 min, via snow route (defined in 2.2.10.1.3) bypassing North Fairlington if necessary
9A/REX	3 buses operating at 45 to 60 min headways between Pentagon - Huntington - Woodlawn. Operate combined 9A/REX route with branded buses. Between King Street Station and Old Town via Duke and Washington Streets. No service to Fort Belvoir. Modify Woodlawn loop if Old Mill, Pole, Sacramento are blocked. Option: Serve all Connector stops south of Huntington if 171 is not operating.
