Unexpected Service Disruptions: 8 a.m. A Green Line train at in the direction of Greenbelt did not service Prince George’s Plaza in order to maintain schedule. 8:13 a.m. An Orange Line train at West Falls Church in the direction of New Carrollton was not put into service because no train was available. 8:31 a.m. A Yellow Line train at Huntington was delayed because of a mechanical problem on the track. 9:22 a.m. A Green Line train at Fort Totten in the direction of Greenbelt was taken out of service because of a mechanical problem, and customers were required to exit the train. 2:06 p.m. An Orange Line train at Stadium-Armory in the direction of Vienna was delayed because of a mechanical problem. 3:56 p.m. A Yellow Line train at Huntington was not put into service because no train was available. 4:11 p.m. A Green Line train in the direction of Greenbelt did not service College Park-U of Md in order to maintain schedule. 4:18 p.m. A Red Line train at Glenmont was not put into service because of a mechanical problem. 4:26 p.m. A Red Line train at Silver Spring in the direction of Glenmont was delayed because of a mechanical problem. 4:45 p.m. A Red Line train at Grosvenor-Strathmore in the direction of Glenmont was taken out of service because of a mechanical problem, and customers were required to exit the train. An additional train was put into service from Farragut North. 5 p.m. An Orange Line train at New Carrollton was not put into service because no train was available. 5:36 p.m. A Red Line train at Farragut North in the direction of Shady Grove was taken out of service because of a door problem, and customers were required to exit the train. The train was put back into service from Rockville after repairs were made. 7:23 p.m. An Orange Line train at Stadium-Armory in the direction of New Carrollton was delayed because the operator was unable to maintain schedule. 9:50 p.m. A Red Line train at Cleveland Park in the direction of Glenmont was taken out of service because of a mechanical problem, and customers were required to exit the train. An additional train was put into service from Rhode Island Ave. 10:47 p.m. An Orange Line train at L’Enfant Plaza in the direction of Vienna was delayed because of a door problem. |
