P-Line service changes effective June 17, 2012
The following route changes, effective June 17, 2012, will begin in conjunction with new Metrobus schedules:
- P1: Route discontinued.
- P2: Route discontinued. Replacement service will be a rerouted P6.
- P6: Route will operate between the 11th Street bridge and Federal Center SW Metrorail station via M Street SE/SW, 3rd St SW, I (Eye) Street SW and 4th Street SW. Bus stops discontinued include those along Virginia Ave SE, 3rd Street SE, E Street SE, Washington Avenue SW and C Street SW. Route will still operate between Anacostia Metrorail station and Rhode Island Ave Metrorail station terminals.
SERVICE FREQUENCY
- Weekday Morning and Evening Rush Hour: P6 will run every 15 minutes.
- Weekday Midday: P6 will run every 20 minutes.
- Evening & Weekends: P6 will run every 30 minutes. Service will end an hour earlier on Friday and Saturday nights.
