Route R3 service changes effective June 17, 2012
The following route changes, effective June 17, 2012, will begin in conjunction with new Metrobus schedules:
Route R3 will operate between Greenbelt Metrorail station and Prince George’s Plaza Metrorail station during weekday rush hour only. Buses will no longer turn into Beltway Plaza. The new line name will be “Greenbelt - PG Plaza.”
REPLACEMENT SERVICE
- F6 will replace R3 between East-West Highway and Fort Totten station via Sargent Road during weekdays. There is no replacement service on weekends.
- R2 will replace R3 along 23rd Avenue and is available seven days a week.
- C8 will replace non-rush hour service serving Archives II on weekdays and Saturdays.
SERVICE FREQUENCY
Route R3 will run every 35 minutes during weekday morning rush hour and every 39 minutes during weekday evening rush hour.
