F4 & F6 service changes effective June 17, 2012
The following route changes, effective June 17, 2012, will begin in conjunction with new Metrobus schedules:
- F4: Route will remain unchanged.
- F6: Route will reroute to Fort Totten Metrorail station at Riggs Road and East-West Highway via Sargent Road, replacing the R3 routing to Fort Totten. F6 route will no longer serve the Silver Spring Metrorail station.
The F6 will replace R3 between East-West Highway and Fort Totten Metrorail station via Sargent Road during weekdays. There is no replacement service on weekends.
SERVICE FREQUENCY
- F4: Weekday rush hour service will run every 12 minutes and every 20 minutes during weekday midday hours. Evening service will run every 30 minutes.
- F6: Weekday rush hour service will run every 35 minutes and every 65 minutes during weekday midday hours.
