Dash for Dad 4 Miler & 1 Mile Walk Sunday, June 17
The Dash for Dad 4 Miler & 1 Mile Walk will take place on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Arlington, Virginia from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. During the event, South Joyce Street will be closed between 15th Street & Army Navy Drive in addition to Army Navy Drive, between South Joyce Street & South Adams Street. Route 10A, 16G, & 16P will detour as follows:
10A Hunting Towers-Pentagon southbound toward Hunting towers
- Regular route, no detour
10A Hunting Towers-Pentagon northbound toward Pentagon
- Regular route to 15th Street & South Hayes Street
- Right on South Hayes Street
- Right on Army Navy Drive
- Resume regular route
16G Columbia Heights West-Pentagon City westbound toward Columbia Heights West
- Regular route, no detour
16G Columbia Heights West-Pentagon City eastbound toward Pentagon City
- Regular route to Columbia Pike & South Joyce Street
- Continue on Columbia Pike
- Continue on roadway to the Pentagon South Parking Lot
- Right on Rotary Drive
- Right on South Fern Street
- Right on Army Navy Drive
- Left on South Hayes Street
- Resume regular route
16P Columbia Pike westbound toward Glen Carlyn & Vista Drive
- Regular route, no detour
16P Columbia Pike eastbound toward Pentagon
- Regular route to Columbia Pike & South Joyce Street
- Continue on Columbia Pike
- Continue on roadway to the Pentagon South Parking Lot
- Right on Rotary Drive
- Right on South Fern Street
- Right on Army Navy Drive
- Left on South Hayes Street
