30-Line Inauguration Day Service, January 21
Monday, January 21, 2013 | Beginning 3:00 a.m.
Due to Inauguration Day road closures around National Mall and Pennsylvania Avenue Metrobus Routes 31, 32, 34, 36, 37 and 39 will be adjusted as follows:
Route 31, 32, 36 (between Friendship Heights and Washington Circle)
- Buses running the northern segment of service will operate between Washington Circle (24th & Pennsylvania Avenue NW) and Friendship Heights station, via Wisconsin Avenue only.
- Transfer to Metrorail for travel beyond Washington Circle (24th & Pennsylvania Avenue NW). The closest station is Foggy Bottom, walking distance from the Metrobus Terminal stop.
Route 37 (between Friendship Heights and Dupont Circle)
- Buses will run between Friendship Heights and 17th & Connecticut Avenue NW only.
- Transfer to Metrorail for continuing travel downtown at Dupont Circle station. The station is located a short walk from the 20th & Massachusetts Ave NW. This will be a few bus stops prior to the end of the line.
Route 32, 34, 36, 39 (between Southern Avenue/Naylor Road and Eastern Market)
- Buses will run between Eastern Market and Southern Avenue (32)/Naylor Road (34, 36, 39) only.
- There will be no through 30-Line service from Southeast DC to Downtown DC/Pennsylvania Ave.
- Transfer to Metrorail for travel beyond Eastern Market. The station is at the Metrobus Terminal stop.
