Route 96 Inauguration Day Detour, January 21
Monday, January 21, 2013 | Beginning 3:00 a.m.
Route 96 will be detoured between N Capitol Street & H Street and 8th Street & East Capitol Street due to Inauguration Day road closures. The planned detour and alternate stop information is as follows:
To Tenleytown (westbound)
- Detour begins at 8th & East Capitol Street NE
- Right 8th Street NE
- Left H Street NE
- Right New Jersey Avenue NW
- Resume regular route
To Capitol Heights (eastbound)
- Detour begins at North Capitol Street & H Street NE
- Left H Street NE
- Right 8th Street NE
- Left East Capitol Street SE
- Resume regular route
