Metrorail weekend service for Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, March 15

Hours: Sat 6 a.m. - 2 a.m.; Sun 6 a.m. - midnight

Red Line Normal Service
Yellow Line Trains run at a combined frequency of every 8 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Sq and every 16 minutes between Mt. Vernon Sq and Greenbelt. 
Green Line Trains single track between Navy Yard and L'Enfant Plaza. Trains run every 16 minutes. 
Orange Line Trains single track between East Falls Church and West Falls Church. Trains run every 20 minutes between Vienna and New Carrollton.
Silver Line Trains single track between East Falls Church and McLean. Trains run every 20 minutes between Ashburn and New Carrollton. No Silver Line service to Downtown Largo.
Blue Line Normal Service 

What Track Work Are We Doing?

On the Green Line, crews will perform grout pad rehabilitation. Grout pads are the pieces of concrete that elevate the tracks and hold them in place. On the Orange and Silver lines, the team will replace crossties, which maintain track spacing and elevation.
