Metro invites local and diverse businesses to agency’s first Back2Business Procurement Fair

On Tuesday, June 20, Metro will host the Back2Business Procurement Fair to engage diverse contractors on current and future business opportunities with the transit agency.

The event features informative sessions, an exhibitor area with government agencies and contractors, and the opportunity to network with existing contractors and partners, along with federal, state and local government agency officials. Metro project managers from IT, Bus, Rail, Construction, Planning, and Real Estate will be available to discuss upcoming opportunities.

Participating business owners and representatives will gain insights from agency leaders and procurement decision makers, plus hear success stories from current contractors.

Metro is committed to the highest procurement standards. At the Back2Business Procurement Fair, Metro will highlight the steps the authority is taking to ensure minority-owned, local, disadvantaged, and woman-owned businesses are afforded equal opportunity to compete for contracts as prime or subcontractors.
