Metro service information for Veterans Day, Monday, November 12

On Veterans Day (observed), Monday, November 12, 2018, Metro will operate service on the following schedules:

Metrorail: Trains will operate on a Saturday service schedule (every 6 to 15 minutes during daytime hours). The system will open at 5 a.m. and close at 11:30 p.m. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day and parking at Metro-owned lots and garages is free all day.

Please note weekend service adjustments and scheduled capital improvements on the Yellow and Blue lines. Buses will replace trains between Braddock Rd, National Airport, Crystal City and Pentagon City stations beginning Friday, November 9 through Monday, November 12. Blue and Yellow line trains will operate every 12 - 16 minutes outside of the work zone.

Metrobus: Buses will operate on a Saturday supplemental schedule (Saturday schedule with some additional trips on selected routes). Some post-midnight trips on the Saturday schedule will not operate. Customers should check timetables for details and see post-midnight trips not operating.

MetroAccess: Service will operate on a regular schedule. However, subscription trips will be canceled. Customers with subscription trips wishing to travel on Monday should call to make a reservation.

In addition, Metro's customer information line, lost and found and customer relations call centers will be closed on the holiday.

On Sunday, November 11, Veterans Day, Metro will operate regular Sunday service.
