DC Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of suspects involved in a shooting Saturday afternoon aboard a Green Line train.

“This criminal activity has no place in our community, much less within the confines of a moving railcar,” said Metro Transit Police Chief Ron Pavlik. “Our detectives will continue to work this case around the clock to bring those responsible to justice.”

The shooting took place aboard a southbound Green Line train at approximately 4:40 p.m. as it was approaching Mt. Vernon Square Station. The suspects are believed to have fled the scene from that station.

Metro Transit Police have released multiple images of individuals who are considered “persons of interest” in the investigation and requested the public’s assistance to identify them. Anyone with information regarding their identity or whereabouts is urged to contact police by phone, text, or email. You do not have to give your name.
