Metro service information for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 20
In observance of Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 20, Metrorail will operate on a Saturday schedule, Metrobus will provide Saturday Supplemental service, and MetroAccess customers may travel on the holiday, however pre-scheduled subscription trips will be canceled.
Customers should be aware of scheduled track work on the Red Line and major construction on the Yellow Line Tunnel and Bridge Rehabilitation Project. View wmata.com/weekend for details and service alternatives.
Service Information
Metrorail
Service & Hours: Metro will operate normal weekday hours, 5 a.m. until midnight, serving all 97 stations with Saturday service frequencies as follows:
Trains every 7-8 minutes between Van Ness and Glenmont; every 15 minutes between Van Ness and Shady Grove.
+ Trains every 15 minutes.
Trains every 8 minutes.
No service through May. Use + as alternative. Free rush-hour shuttle buses will operate on the holiday.
Fares: Weekday off-peak fares will be in effect all day with $2 late-night fares after 9:30 p.m. and parking will be free at all Metro owned parking facilities and garages.
Metrobus
Service & Hours: Metrobus will operate Saturday Supplemental service, providing reduced service compared to a normal weekday but more options than normal weekend service. All routes that normally operate on Saturday will operate in addition to selected routes. View our Saturday Supplemental service for a list of routes.

Fares: Regular $2 bus fares in effect and is free for all regular route Metrobus service when transfering to/from rail.
MetroAccess
MetroAcceess service will operate on a normal schedule. Pre-scheduled subscription trips will be canceled. Separate reservations to travel may be scheduled online or by calling 301-562-5360 (TTY 301-588-7535).
