Metro to open early Sunday to support Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run

Metrorail will open early, at 5 a.m., Sunday, September 12, 2021, for the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run, providing an easy, convenient way for runners and spectators to get to the race.

The two hour early opening, approved by Metro's Board of Directors, supports the region's pandemic recovery and waives the normal fees paid by event organizers for the added service.
