MTPD Investigations Review Panel Application

MTPD Officers

Police officers are sworn to protect and serve with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism. In order for a police department to be successful, it must build and foster the trust of the community it serves. It is in that spirit that, in 2020, the Metro Board of Directors created a new oversight panel to make recommendations on policy matters and police procedures.

The Investigations Review Panel reviews completed MTPD investigations on a quarterly basis and submits recommendations on changes to policy and training to the MTPD Chief of Police, with a copy to the Metro Board of Directors, which has oversight responsibility of the department.
