Synopsis
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide electricity for the State of Maryland.
The term of the contract shall be for a period of three years with two option years.
The contract start date shall be approximately July 1, 2017 but the Contractor will be required to enroll the accounts to start service when the existing supplier’s contract expires. The contract end date shall be a minimum of 24 billing months up to a maximum of 60 billing months after the award date for each WMATA account listed in Appendix A.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
This will be a two-step bid process. Technical proposals are due November 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm local time.
Contractors meeting the technical qualifications will be given 72-hour notice by WMATA prior to the due date for price bids. Your bid must be submitted in accordance with IFB terms.
