Synopsis

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) operates the second largest rail transit system, the sixth largest bus network and the fifth largest paratransit program in the United States. WMATA is seeking the services of highly qualified Travel Trainers to provide comprehensive, long-term, individualized travel training for people with disabilities with success being the customer’s transition from using paratransit to the independent use of the accessible fixed-route systems for some or all of their public transportation trips.
