IFB- FQ17125/NAC - Relocation of Maintenance Department
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation, renovations and built-outs of a newly acquired WMATA Facility located at Lanham, Maryland. The work includes, among other activities, electrical and plumbing upgrades; Fire protection modification, painting, flooring replacement, fencing, furniture, coordinating the moving of various equipment in the facility.
The performance period for the entire project is approximately 8 months from the issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is $5 - $10 million. The Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is to be determined. A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit tentatively scheduled to be held on August 25, 2017 IS NOW CANCELED. Details will be provided on release of the solicitation documents.

Notification of availability will be made on the WMATA Internet web site at https://www.wmata.com/business/procurement_and_contracting. The Solicitation documents will be made available on WMATA’s Project Management Software System (Procore).
