Synopsis
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires services from a qualified contractor to provide Pick Up and Disposal Services for Transit Railcars - 2k, 3k, 5k & 6k series, in accordance with Price Schedule and Statement of Work outlined in Part III, of the IFB. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) opportunity with a 10% goal. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Greenbelt Rail Yard, Conference Room 324, 5801 Sunnyside Avenue, Bldg. H, College Park, Maryland 20740. If you have any questions, Technical, Contractual, or Administrative, please e-mail them to lpepper@wmata.com no later than 12:00 P.M, local time on November 30, 2017. WMATA will evaluate and if necessary provide written answers, by e-mail to all those who obtain the IFB and provided their e-mail addresses. The Bid must be submitted with all required documents as detailed in the IFB, no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 13, 2017 to: WMATA’s Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Room 3C-02, Washington, DC 20001-2651.
