Future Solicitations
WMATA does not currently have any Joint Development Requests for Proposals (RFP) published for consideration but has established an ambitious goal of completing 20 new joint development agreements by 2032 at part of its 10-Year Strategic Plan for Joint Development.
WMATA has undertaken a process to group its stations with property available for joint development based on their priority for future Joint Development Solicitations. The purpose of these groupings is to help Metro manage its internal resources, as well as set expectations for the sites that require a deeper level of coordination before they can be developed. Given the fluidity of market conditions and resource availability, the prioritization for joint development may change periodically.
The stations listed in the following tables are shown alphabetically and are not ordered based on an anticipated solicitation schedule. Any future solicitations must be authorized by WMATA's Board of Directors prior to advertisement.
