Nationals Logo You'll be batting a thousand every time you travel to your nearest Metro Park and Ride lot for a quick and easy trip to Nationals Park. When you arrive at the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metrorail station on the Green Line, you'll have only a short block walk to the ballpark. (See the Washington Nationals site for schedule information.) Where Is the Ballpark?

It's a short walk from Metro's Navy Yard-Ballpark Metrorail station with its expanded entrance designed to accommodate Nationals Fans on game day. View a larger area map around the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metrorail station and Nationals Park.

The entire ballpark district is undergoing a rebirth. The Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID) works to make the neighborhood clean, safe, friendly, and vibrant. Look for the BID's Clean & Safe team members in their bright blue uniforms. They are happy to offer assistance and give directions.

Buses that serve Nationals Park are: 74P6, V2, V4, and Capitol Hill Circulator.

MetroAccess Customers

MetroAccess has designated a specific drop-off and pick-up location to serve all MetroAccess customers going to Nationals Park. MetroAccess will drop off and pick up customers at the corner of New Jersey Ave, SE and M St, SE. MetroAccess customers with questions about service can call 202-637-7000 (TTY 202-638-3780).

Parking at Metrorail Stations

SmarTrip® Card

A SmarTrip® card is required to exit most of Metro's Park and Ride lots. The lots don't accept cash or farecards as payment. SmarTrip® cards are sold online and from vending machines at Metrorail stations.

On weekends and federal holidays parking is free at Metro Park and Ride lots. For more information on the cost of parking on regular weekdays, visit individual station pages.

Credit Cards

Paying to park has gotten easier. Riders can pay daily parking fees with a major credit card at select Metrorail stations. These stations accept both credit card payments and SmarTrip® cards. Customers may use Discover, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Japanese Credit Bank cards at these locations via credit card readers installed next to the existing SmarTrip® card targets on the side of the booth.
