1.

There is one elevator that will take you to the upper-level platform. The elevator is located towards the escalators that lead to the Branch Avenue/Huntington Platform. For passengers on trains that will continue to Franconia-Springfield, Vienna, and Ashburn, the elevator will be towards the front of the train. For passengers on trains that will continue to Downtown Largo and New Carrollton, the elevator will be towards the back of the train.

2.

Ride the elevator to the upper platform. Then, exit the elevator. Elevator doors will be open facing the station manager's kiosk for the "L'Enfant Plaza" exit. Make a wide U Turn to the right when exiting the elevator

After completing the wide U Turn, there will be a wall to follow on your left. Proceed when you have reached the wall for guidance. The wall will end to allow space for the boarding platform for Green and Yellow Lines to Branch Avenue and Huntington. (in approximately 160 ft, while heading this way the Dark Astronaut should be visible on the opposite side of the station)

4.

Turn to the left and head to the end of the platform for the elevator to the mezzanine level. This will be about 460 ft.

At the end of the platform, the elevator doors are on the left.

6.

When exiting the elevator, walk forward and tap your Smartrip card and exit through the faregate.

Once through the faregates make a left U turn and you will be facing the elevator that will take you to the streel level.  Proceed to the end of the elevator alcove (about 30 ft) where you can call the elevator.

From the Metro street elevator, turn to the left and go about 100 ft to the intersection of 7th and Maryland. There will be a pedestrian call signal at the streetlight on the corner

Turn to the right and cross 7th Street when it is safe to do so. 7th St is about 80 ft wide

When finished crossing, turn right and proceed. About 180 ft later you will pass under a bridge

Once finished passing the bridge, you will cross Virginia Avenue. This intersection does not have a traffic light, but there is a stop sign for vehicles traveling on Virginia Avenue from the left. Virginia Avenue is about 60 ft wide

12.

After crossing Virginia Ave, turn left. Proceed approximately 235 ft straight ahead on the sidewalk.

13.

Turn to the right and get past the parapet wall.

Turn to the right and continue 20 ft to reach the Automatic Door Opener for the entrance to the Transit Accessibility Center. The door is on your left.
