5:07 a.m. A Largo Town Center-bound Blue Line train at Franconia-Springfield was delayed 5 minutes due to an operational problem.

5:37 a.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train outside Rockville station was delayed due to a person struck by the train. As a result, Red Line trains were single tracked between Shady Grove and Twinbrook and several trains were offloaded and turned back for schedule adherence/improved train spacing. The incident train was moved back to the platform and offloaded. Customers experienced delays up to 95 minutes until approximately 7:30 a.m.

6:00 a.m. A Largo Town Center-bound Silver Line train at Morgan Boulevard was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.

7:45 a.m. A Vienna-bound Orange Line train at Minnesota Avenue was delayed 8 minutes due to police activity.

8:03 a.m. A Greenbelt-bound Yellow Line train at L'Enfant Plaza was delayed 5 minutes due to a door problem.

8:06 a.m. A New Carrollton-bound Orange Line train at Landover was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.

8:27 a.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at Takoma was delayed 7 minutes due to a medical emergency.

10:20 a.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at Grosvenor-Strathmore was offloaded due to a brake problem. Passengers experienced a 6-minute delay.

12:33 p.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at Gallery Pl-Chinatown was offloaded due to a door problem. Passengers experienced a 6-minute delay.

3:20 p.m. A Franconia-Springfield-bound Blue Line train at Benning Road was delayed 6 minutes due to police activity.

3:32 p.m. A Franconia-Springfield-bound Orange Line train at Farragut West was delayed due to a track obstruction. As a result, Orange and Blue line trains were single tracked between Foggy Bottom and McPherson Square. Customers experienced delays up to 20 minutes until approximately 5:00 p.m.

3:58 p.m. A Franconia-Springfield-bound Blue Line train at McPherson Square was offloaded due to a track obstruction. Passengers experienced a 20-minute delay.

3:59 p.m. A Franconia-Springfield-bound Blue Line train at Arlington Cemetery was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.

4:25 p.m. A Huntington-bound Yellow Line train at Pentagon was offloaded due to an equipment problem. Passengers experienced an 8-minute delay.

5:19 p.m. A Greenbelt-bound Green Line train at Branch Avenue did not operate, resulting in a 4-minute gap in service.

5:32 p.m. A Greenbelt-bound Yellow Line train at King St-Old Town was delayed 6 minutes due to a door problem.

5:59 p.m. A Franconia-Springfield-bound Orange Line train at Farragut West was delayed 25 minutes due to removing a track obstruction.

9:33 p.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at Medical Center was delayed due to a report of an arcing insulator. As a result, Red Line trains were single tracked between Medical Center and Grosvenor. Customers experienced delays up to 20 minutes through the end of service.
