Daily Service Report for Sunday, January 24, 2021
11:09 a.m. Green Line service at Southern Avenue station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 1:00 p.m.
12:08 p.m. A Largo Town Center-bound Silver Line train at Spring Hill was delayed 10 minutes due to police activity.
12:50 p.m. Green Line service at Anacostia station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 2:45 p.m.
3:07 p.m. Red Line service at Wheaton station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 4:45 p.m.
5:11 p.m. Yellow and Green line service at Columbia Heights station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 7:00 p.m.
6:19 p.m. A New Carrollton-bound Orange Line train at Minnesota Avenue was offloaded due to a medical emergency. As a result, Orange Line trains were single tracked between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly. Customers experienced delays up to 20 minutes until approximately 7:00 p.m.
8:15 p.m. Orange Line service at Minnesota Avenue station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 9:45 p.m.
9:47 p.m. A New Carrollton-bound Orange Line train at Minnesota Avenue did not service the station due to an operational problem. Customers experienced a 20-minute delay.
