Consider riding Metrobus this summer

Did you know there are many Metrobus options available to help you around during this summer’s Platform Improvement Project? Metro will be adding extra service to several routes, including Metroway, 8S/Z, 10A/E, 11Y and 21A/D. If you’re already familiar with these routes, click here to read the full list of new Virginia timetables taking effect on May 28, 2019.
For those of you that aren’t regular bus riders, Metro’s service nearby feature can help you find the nearest bus route for your neighborhood. Here a few options you might want to consider:
- Service between Braddock Rd & Pentagon City stations with stops in the Potomac Yard area & Crystal City.
- Weekday rush hour service every eight minutes
- Frequent, reliable service every day of the week
- New stops will be added on Potomac Avenue at East Glebe Road near Kaiser Permanente and the National Institute for the Blind (NIB) Headquarters.
- On weekdays, rush hour service will be improved to operate every 10-15 minutes
- New midday service will operate every 30 minutes between Potomac Park and Hunting Point
