Buses will detour from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm from Tuesday, January 2 to Monday, January 8, 2024, due to the DC Plug Project Construction. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closure:
- Irvington Street between Martin Luther King Jr Avenue SW & Ivanhoe Street
The following routes will detour:
A4 Anacostia – Fort Drum northbound to Anacostia Station
- Buses begin detouring on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on 1st St SW at South Capitol St SE.
A4 Anacostia – Fort Drum southbound to DC Village via Fort Drum
- Buses begin detouring on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SW at Chesapeake St.
W1 Shipley Terrace – Fort Drum eastbound to Southern Avenue Station
- Buses begin detouring on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on First St SE at Atlantic St.
W1 Shipley Terrace – Fort Drum westbound to Fort Drum
- No detour.
