Street Closures:
• Main St closed between Chain Bridge Rd and Old Lee Highway/East St.
• University Dr closed between North St and Sager Ave.
Due to the 2022 Asian Festival, several streets will be closed on Sunday, May 15 between 8am and 8pm affecting the 29K route. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
Routes Affected: 29K
The following routes will detour:
29K Alexandria- Fairfax eastbound to King Street-Old Town Station
- Buses begin detouring on Chain Bridge Rd at Armstrong Dr, resuming regular route on North St at University Dr.
29K Alexandria- Fairfax westbound to George Mason University
- Buses begin detouring on North St at University Dr, resuming regular route on George Mason Blvd at Armstrong Dr.
While riding Metro, wearing a mask is now optional. Thank you for being mindful of others while riding.
