Temporary Detour: 2023 Capital Pride Block Party and Parade, June 10

On Saturday June 10, several Metrobuses in the Washington D.C. area will detour or turn back service due to the 2023 Capital Pride Block Party and Parade. Buses will detour from 4:00am until 12:00am. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
The following streets will be closed to traffic for public safety:

- Buses will begin detouring on Connecticut Ave NW at 18th St, resuming regular route on Connecticut Ave at S St.
42, 43 Mount Pleasant southbound to Gallery Place
- Buses will begin detouring on Connecticut Ave NW at R St, resuming regular route on Connecticut Ave NW at M St.
52/54 14th Street northbound to 14th & Colorado
- Buses will begin detouring on 14th St NW at K St, resuming regular route on 14th St NW at U St.
2/54 14th Street southbound to L’ Enfant Plaza Station
- Buses will begin detouring on 14th St NW at Florida Ave, resuming regular route on 14th St NW at I St.
D2 Glover Park - Dupont Circle
- Buses will operate between Glover Park and a bus stop located on Q St NW at 22nd St (stop ID # 1001514).
D6 Sibley Hospital Stadium Armory eastbound to Stadium-Armory
- Buses will begin detouring on Q St NW at Wisconsin Ave, resuming regular route on K St NW at 20th St.
D6 Sibley Hospital – Stadium Armory westbound to Stadium-Armory
- Buses will begin detouring on I St NW at 19th St, resuming regular route on Q St NW at 33rd St.
