Temporary Bus Stop Closure: Wheaton Bus Loop, August 22

Routes Affected: C2, C4, Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, Q6, Y2, Y7, Y8, Ride On 34
Due to pavement rehabilitation, the bus bays located at the Wheaton bus loop will temporarily close in phases for approximately five months. The project will improve the bus ride experience for customers.
Customers may board/exit buses at temporary stops:
C2 Greenbelt-Twinbrook eastbound towards Greenbelt
C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook eastbound towards Prince Georges Plaza
- Temporary bus stop T3, located southbound on Georgia Ave
- Buses will not serve Veirs Mill Rd at University Blvd (stop id# 2000516 and 2001161).
C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook westbound towards Twinbrook
- Temporary bus stop T1, located southbound on Georgia Ave.
Y2, Y7, Y8 Georgia Ave-Maryland northbound towards Montgomery Medical Center and Inter County Connector Park/Ride
- Temporary bus stop T4, located westbound on Veirs Mill Rd next to the Pedestrian bridge.
Y2, Y7, Y8 Georgia Ave-Maryland southbound towards Silver Spring
- Temporary bus stop T3, located southbound on Georgia Ave.
- Buses will not serve Veirs Mill Rd at University Blvd (stop id# 2000516 and 2001161).
Q5, Q6 Viers Mill Rd southbound to Wheaton Station
- Buses will not serve Viers Mill Rd at University Blvd (stop id# 2000516 and 2001161).
- Bus Bay P will be served by buses. While riding Metro, wearing a mask is now optional.
