Due to construction, some bus stops will relocate at Franklin Square and the D4 and 16E routes will detour.
Beginning Friday, July 23, from Sunday through Friday (7pm to 6am nightly), the westbound bus stop on I St NW at 15th St (bus stop ID#1001185) and the temporary westbound bus stop on I St NW at 14th St (bus stop ID#1001191) will be temporarily closed due to construction. Customers traveling towards Mt Pleasant, Potomac Park, Friendship Hts, Farragut Sq, may board/exit buses at a bus stop on I St NW at 17th St (bus stop ID# 1001183).
Temporary bus stop changes at Franklin Square:
- The westbound bus stop on I St NW at 14th St (bus stop ID#1001191) will temporarily relocate. Customers may board/exit routes 42, 43, S2, S9, X2, G8 at a temporary bus stop located on I St NW approximately 100 ft west of 14th St.
- Customers may board/exit 16E/S9 MetroExtra buses at an eastbound bus stop on K St NW between 13th and 14th St (bus stop ID#1003944).
- Customers may board/exit 63/D4 buses at a northbound bus stop on 13th St NW at K St (bus stop ID#1001258).
D4 Ivy City-Franklin Square eastbound towards Ivy City
- Buses begin service from a bus stop on 13th at K St (bus stop ID#1001258), resuming regular route on K St at 11th St.
D4 Ivy City-Franklin Square westbound towards Franklin Sq
- Buses begin detouring on 13th St NW at I St, ending service at a bus stop on 13th St at K St (bus stop ID#1001258).
