Temporary Bus Stop Relocation: Rockville Station Canopy Replacement, Aug 23

On February 13, 2022, the west side bus loop at Rockville Station will reopen due to the completion of construction. Metrobus routes Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, and Q6 will relocate to their original bus stop locations. Additionally, bus bays will have temporary wooden bus shelters until new bus shelters are installed.

Metrobus routes Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, and Q6 will relocate to their original bus stop locations. Additionally, bus bays will have temporary wooden bus shelters until new bus shelters are installed.
Q1, Q2, Q5, and Q6 routes traveling northbound towards Shady Grove will serve bus stop G. Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, and Q6 traveling eastbound towards Wheaton/Silver Spring will serve bus stop D.

- Route 55 traveling towards Germantown Transit Center at bus stop B
- Route 56 traveling towards Lakeforest Transit Center at bus stop E
- Route 63 traveling towards Shady Grove at bus stop E
- Route 81 traveling towards White Flint at bus stop F

The west side bus loop at Rockville Station will be temporarily closed due to construction. Routes traveling eastbound are servicing bus stop T3. Metrobus routes Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, and Q6 traveling eastbound towards Wheaton / Silver Spring will serve Bus Bay A on the east side of the station, beginning Sunday, September 5. Q1, Q2, Q5, and Q6 routes traveling northbound towards Shady Grove will serve bus stop G. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
