Metrobus will detour due to construction on New Jersey Ave NW between Q St and R St. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
Street Closure:
• New Jersey Ave NW between Q St and R St
The following routes will detour:
G2 P St-Ledroit Park eastbound toward Ledroit Park-Howard University
• Buses begin detouring on Q St NW at New Jersey Ave, resuming regular route on New Jersey Ave NW at Rhode Island Ave.
G2 P St-Ledroit Park westbound toward Georgetown University
• No detour.
96 East Capitol St -Cardozo eastbound toward Capitol Heights Metrorail Station
• No detour.
96 East Capitol St -Cardozo westbound toward Tenleytown Metrorail Station
• Buses begin detouring on Q St NW at New Jersey Ave, resuming regular route on New Jersey Ave NW at Rhode Island Ave.
Customers are required to wear face coverings on Metrobus. Face coverings may include bandannas, scarves, neck gaiters, or homemade coverings easily made from t-shirts and other materials at minimal cost.
