Glenmont Bus Canopy Rehabilitation Project, March 6 to May 1

Beginning March 6, some Metrobus routes at Glenmont Station will relocate to temporary bus stops due to the Glenmont Bus Canopy Rehabilitation Project. Bus Bays C and D will be closed. Metro will install a new roof system, skylights, and an escalator canopy. See below for all affected routes.
Customers may board/exit buses at temporary stops:
- Metrobus Y2, Y7, Y8 towards Silver Spring Transit Center will serve Bus Bay E.
- Metrobus C8 towards College Park and North Bethesda will serve Bus Bay H.
The following route will detour in both directions:
C8 College Park-North Bethesda
- Buses begin detouring on Georgia Ave at Glenmont Station entrance, resuming regular route on Georgia Ave at Layhill Rd.
Bus Applications:
- Due to the temporary nature of this change, bus routing and bus stop information will not be updated in the Trip Planner, Customer Information Systems, busETA, Google and other private Apps based on WMATA systems.
