Temporary Detour: Independence Day Fireworks and Celebration on the National Mall, July 4

Routes Affected: 5A, 30N, 30S, 32, 33, 34, 36, 52, 54, 63, 64, 70, 74, 79, P6, S2, S4
Routes 5A, 30N, 30S, 32, 33, 34, 36, 52, 54, 63, 64, 70, 74, 79, P6, S2 and S4 will detour on Independence Day due to festivities occurring near the National Mall in the District of Columbia. Route 5A’s 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm trips to Dulles Airport will not depart from L’Enfant Plaza Metrorail station. Customers should board buses from Rosslyn Metrorail station at 7:46 pm, 8:46 pm and 9:44 pm, respectively. Allow additional travel time, and consider transferring to Metrorail whenever possible.
