Long-Term Bus Bay Reassignment: Bus Bay and Kiss & Ride Construction at King St-Old Town Metrorail Station, Nov 18

Sunday, November 18, 2018 | Approximately 18 months
Due to the City of Alexandria's King St-Old Town Metro Access Improvement Project, routes 28A, 29K, 29N, NH2 and REX will be reassigned to bus bays along Diagonal Rd on the south side of King St-Old Town Metrorail Station for approximately 18 months. Signs will be posted to indicate temporary bus bay locations.
Current Bus Bay Assignments:
- 28A – Bus Bay F
- 29K, 29N - Bus Bay D (shared with DASH AT8)
- NH2, REX - Bus Bay A
Long-Term/Temporary Bus Bay Reassignments (temporary bus bays on Diagonal Rd):
- 28A – Bus Bay E
- 29K, 29N – Bus Bay B (shared with DASH AT8)
- NH2, REX – Bus Bay A
Note: The station's Kiss & Ride lot, including metered parking will be closed during this time. Customers currently using the lot are encouraged to use Eisenhower Ave or Braddock Rd Metrorail stations' Kiss & Ride areas and seek parking alternatives.
