Temporary Detour: 2022 Alexandria Del Ray Turkey Trot

On Thursday, November 24, Metrobuses will detour due to the 2022 Del Ray Turkey Trot in Alexandria, VA from the start of service until 2pm. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
Routes Affected: 10A, 10B
Street Closures:
• Mt. Vernon Ave. from E. Braddock Rd. to Hume Ave.
• Uhler Ave. from Mt. Vernon Ave. to Commonwealth Ave.
• Oxford Ave. from Mt. Vernon Ave. to Commonwealth Ave.
• Commonwealth Ave. from E. Mt. Ida.to Rosemont Ave.
• Chapman St. from Commonwealth Ave. to Russell Rd.
• Chapman St. from Commonwealth Ave. to Russell Rd.
• W. Linden St. and E. Linden St. from Russell Rd. to Mt. Vernon Ave.
• Mt. Vernon Ave. from E. Linden St. to E. Walnut Ave.
• E. Maple Ave. from Mt. Vernon Ave. to Commonwealth Ave.
• Commonwealth Ave. from Maple Ave. to Commonwealth Ave. and Oxford Ave.
The following routes will detour:
10A Alexandria-Pentagon northbound to Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring leaving Ballston Station, resuming regular route on Mt. Vernon Ave at W Glebe Rd.
10A Alexandria-Pentagon southbound to Huntington
- Buses begin detouring on Mt. Vernon Ave at W Glebe Rd, resuming regular route at Ballston Station.
10B Hunting Point-Ballston northbound to Ballston
- Buses begin detouring leaving Ballston Station, resuming regular route on Mt. Vernon Ave at W Glebe Rd.
- Buses begin detouring on Mt. Vernon Ave at W Glebe Rd, resuming regular route at Ballston Station.
