Temporary Detour: Construction Hazard on New Jersey Ave at Florida Ave, Nov 23

Effective Immediately, Metrobuses will detour due to a construction project on Florida Ave at New Jersey Ave NW. The construction will only affect the 96 bus route traveling westbound to Tenleytown until further notice. Please allow additional travel time.

• Florida Avenue & New Jersey Avenue NW
The following routes will detour:
96 East Capitol Street-Cardozo eastbound to Capitol Heights Station
- Regular Route, No Detour.
96 East Capitol Street-Cardozo westbound to Tenleytown
- Buses begin detouring on New Jersey Ave at R St NW, resuming regular route on U St at 9th St NW.
While riding Metro, wearing a mask is now optional. Thank you for being mindful of others while riding.
