Temporary Detour: 2021 Alexandria Turkey Trot 5K, November 25

On November 25, 2021, Metrobus will detour from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm due to the annual Alexandria Turkey Trot 5K. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
Street Closures
- Mt Vernon Ave between Braddock Rd and W. Uhler Ave
- Commonwealth Ave between W. Uhler Ave and W. Linden St
- Russell Rd between W. Chapman St and W. Linden St
The following routes will detour:
10A Alexandria-Pentagon northbound toward the Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring on N. West St at Braddock Rd, resuming regular route on S. Arlington Ridge Rd at S. Glebe Rd.
10A Alexandria-Pentagon southbound toward Huntington
- Buses begin detouring on S. Glebe Rd at S. Arlington Ridge Rd, resuming regular route on N. West St at Braddock Rd.
10B Hunting Point-Ballston northbound toward Ballston
- Buses begin detouring on N. West St at the roadway exit from Braddock Rd Metrorail station, resuming regular route on S. Glebe Rd at S. Arlington Ridge Rd.
10B Hunting Point-Ballston southbound toward Hunting Point
- Buses begin detouring on S. Glebe Rd at Mt Vernon Ave, resuming regular route on N. West St at the roadway entrance to Braddock Rd Metrorail station.
