Beginning March 4 through April 19, buses will detour at the intersection of Kenilworth Avenue and Riverdale Road Mondays through Thursdays (9pm-5am), due to Purple Line construction. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
The bus stops on Kenilworth Ave at Powhatan Rd northbound (stop ID #3003332) and southbound (stop ID #3003308) will be temporarily closed. Customers may board/exit alternative stops on Kenilworth Ave at Nicholson St: northbound (stop ID #3002893) and southbound (stop ID #3001709)
R12 Kenilworth Avenue northbound to Greenbelt Station
- Buses begin detouring on Kenilworth Ave at Nicholson St, resuming regular route on East-West Highway at Kenilworth Ave.
Detour will be in place if last southbound bus trip is delayed by 8 minutes and passes through the area after 9pm.
- Buses begin detouring on Kenilworth Ave at East-West Highway, resuming regular route on Riverdale Rd at Kenilworth Ave.
