Metro announces expansion of SelectPass, the monthly unlimited pass for Metrorail

Metro today announced the expansion of its monthly SelectPass to all pricing levels, giving customers the ability to select the right Metrorail pass for their needs and save up to 20 percent per month.

With SelectPass, riders pay for 18 days of round-trip travel, selecting a price point based on the fare of their typical rush-hour trip. Once the pass is loaded, customers can take unlimited rush-hour trips valued up to the price point selected. SelectPass price points start at $2.00 for riders who primarily travel off-peak and increase at $0.25 increments up to $6.

SelectPass makes traveling on Metro convenient and affordable. Riders pay once a month, and the SelectPass is automatically loaded onto their registered SmarTrip® card on a recurring basis. 

The additional SelectPass price points are available for customers to purchase now for travel starting in December.
