New Metro Audio-Cast Available for Download

The newest Metro audio-cast, dated April 13, is now available to customers on www.metroopensdoors.com. Online users can download the audio-casts and listen right on their computers or on MP3 devices, such as an ipod or zune. The audio-casts offer customers a summary of Metro-related news for the week and provide an overview of how planned maintenance work or major events in the region may impact their weekend travel.

This week’s audio-cast was posted today and highlights Metro’s Lost and Found program, which helps customers who misplace items throughout the Metro system. The audio-cast includes information about weekend events, such as the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus at the Verizon Center, the opening of Bodies: The Exhibition in Arlington, Va., and area sporting events. It also informs listeners of Green Line weekend rail car testing that may add 10 to 15 minutes of travel time for customers and Metrobus detours affecting the 5A, 13, 32, 34, 35, 36, 52, 54, 66, 70, 80, P6, S2, S4 and V8 Metrobus routes this weekend.
