Holiday Transit Schedules for Independence Day 2007
Transit schedules for Wednesday, July 4, 2007, Independence Day, are as follows. Metrorail will operate on a special schedule (7 a.m. until midnight). Parking at all transit authority-operated lots will be free. Reduced fares will be in effect all day. No bicycles will be allowed on Metrorail. Metrobus will operate on a Saturday schedule, with special strategic buses provided until closing. MetroAccess will operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight.
To plan trips for this holiday, customers are encouraged to consult Metro's Trip Planner, which contains holiday schedule information for Metro and other regional transit companies.
