Metro Hosts Public Meetings on Metrobus 30s Line Study

Metro is hosting two public meetings to discuss the Metrobus 30s Line study with customers. The study is sponsored by Metro in partnership with the District of Columbia Department of Transportation to develop recommendations to improve bus service on Metrobus routes 30, 32, 34, 35, 36 and M6.

The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, at the Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 3000 Pennsylvania Ave., SE,
Washington, DC. A second meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at the St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, Great Hall, 4201 Albermarle St., NW, Washington, DC.

The meetings will focus on identifying issues with the existing bus services and opportunities for future services that need to be addressed by the project.

An open house will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the public meeting at 7 p.m.
