Three Metrobus routes to be detoured on Saturday due to bridge work on South Dakota Avenue, NE

Metrobus routes B8, B9 and H6 will be detoured on Saturday, Sept. 29, due to a bridge rehabilitation project over CSX railroad tracks in Northeast, Washington, DC.

The B8, B9 and H6 will not stop on Vista Street, NE, because of the bridge work at Vista Street, NE, and South Dakota Avenue, NE. The closest bus stop is on South Dakota Avenue, NE. Bus time tables will not change.

Buses will make the following detour:

Eastbound buses will turn left on 26th Street at Franklin Street, turn right on Hamlin Street and right on South Dakota Avenue to Vista Street where the regular route will resume.

Westbound buses at Vista Street will continue on South Dakota Avenue, turn left on Hamlin Street, left on 26th Street and right on Franklin Street where the regular route will resume.
