Parking Meters Hours Extended at Southern Avenue station

Metro has converted 146 seven-hour parking meters to 12-hour parking meters at the Southern Avenue Metrorail station Kiss & Ride area on the upper level of the station’s parking garage. There are 200 metered spaces at the Kiss & Ride area. Customers can park at these spaces from 5 to 2 a.m.

The Southern Avenue Metrorail station has 1,980 all-day parking spaces. It is located at 1141 Southern Avenue in Temple Hills, Maryland. Customers are reminded that Metro-operated parking must be paid using a SmarTrip card.
