Wheaton's Parking Garage Lower Level Entrance Reopening at the End of October

The lower level entrance of the Wheaton Metrorail station parking garage is expected to re-open at the end of this month. The entrance has been closed since spring. It was expected to open at the end of July but the amount of renovation work required was more extensive than originally planned.

The entrance has been closed due to the re-construction project that started last fall. It is expected to be completed in January 2008. Due to the rehabilitation project, approximately 150 to 200 parking spaces are blocked, but the rest of the spaces are available for daily parking.

The Wheaton Metrorail station has 977 all-day parking spaces. It is located at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Reedie Drive in Wheaton, Maryland. Customers are reminded that Metro-operated parking must be paid using a SmarTrip card.
